A closer look
Mosaïq
From a resource-hub brief to a peer-learning community.

The Mosaïq brandmark on one of the main brand patterns.
THE STARTING POINT
Citi Foundation wanted a resource hub to support its Innovation Award grantees: NGOs working on challenges including homelessness, food scarcity and affordability.
Working with IDEO.org, I led research, positioning, naming, visual identity, brand guidelines and landing-page UX/UI.

Typography and application of the brand patterns.
AN IDENTITY BUILT AROUND CONNECTION
The name Mosaïq reflects the different organisations coming together in the community. Six interlocking tiles form the mark, giving that connection a visual expression.

Collage, layered textures, bold shapes and photography informed the visual system, carrying the idea of different contributions coming together across the identity.

FROM BRAND TO LANDING PAGE
I carried the positioning and visual identity into the brand guidelines and landing-page UX/UI.
The work connected the community’s purpose to how it introduced itself, giving the team a consistent foundation for the brand and its digital expression.

The visual identity applied to the interface.
HOW THE COMMUNITY HAS GROWN
The platform has since grown from about 50 NGOs to more than 200.
My contribution helped establish the positioning, identity and landing-page experience around the interest in peer learning that emerged from the research.
